What makes me any different than you?

Sure, I am plus size,

but I am still human.

I may not be able to fit into this, that,

but I am beautiful.

Like Lucille Clifton says

“These hips are magic hips!”,

They’re no size zero, they’re size stunning.

Breaks my heart to be reminded

skinny is more attractive.

Women my size struggle,

emotionally and physically.

We don't need bullies and the media

reminding us we aren't pretty.

In a world of chaos, standards, and

judgment, repeat after me:

I am me. I praise me. I love me.
